Governor Aiyedatiwa Hails Oyetibo’s Bar Centre Gift as Milestone for Ondo Lawyers

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has described Chief Tayo Oyetibo’s donation of a new Bar Centre to the NBA Ondo branch as a milestone for the legal profession and democratic governance. At the unveiling in Ondo City, the governor praised the structure as more than just brick and mortar. He said it embodies scholarship, integrity and professional excellence. He added that it will inspire future generations of lawyers. Oyetibo noted that lawyers are guardians of justice and said the facility reflects his commitment to strengthen the rule of law. The centre features a library, conference hall, cafeteria and spaces for professional development. Senior legal figures at the ceremony urged younger practitioners to uphold values of service and integrity. A lecture by Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun called on lawyers to embrace technology and defend democratic institutions.
