Jarvis Opens Up on Childhood Hardship, TikTok Journey and Meeting Peller
Content creator Elizabeth Amadu, known as Jarvis, has shared how family hardship, financial struggles and her grandparents’ strict guidance shaped her early life. She said growing up with a mother living with bipolar disorder was often difficult, and that she did not know her biological father. Jarvis credited her grandparents with providing discipline and support during a challenging childhood. Jarvis also recalled struggling with school fees and food alongside her sister before discovering TikTok live streaming. She said a friend introduced them to the feature, and their first stream earned them five dollars. Speaking about Peller, she said they first connected during a livestream. She initially saw him as someone interested in her sister and viewed their own interactions mainly as content creation and friendship, not a serious relationship.
