DSS Operative Details Arrest of Man Who Threatened Abuja Schools
A DSS operative told the Federal High Court how suspect John Agbo sent SMS threats to kill students and teachers at three elite Abuja schools. Investigators received petitions from Premier International School, The Regent Secondary School and Oakland International British School. They tracked the messages to a Techno phone and arrested Agbo in Otukpo, Benue. Officers recovered the phone, SIM card and recorded Agbo’s extra-judicial statement. He faces charges under the Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act and the Cybercrimes Act. The trial resumes on May 12.
