Vice-President Kashim Shettima has asked well-wishers not to hold elaborate celebrations, place congratulatory adverts or air birthday messages for his 60th birthday on September 2. He urged Nigerians to instead pray for the success of the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms, improved security, national unity, peace and prosperity. Shettima said keeping the occasion low-key reflects his belief that public attention should remain on national development and service to the country.
