Sowore Questions Atiku’s Record, Calls for Break From Political Elite
AAC presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has criticised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s record and questioned what new direction he offers Nigeria ahead of the 2027 election. Sowore referred to Atiku’s eight years as vice president under former President Olusegun Obasanjo. He argued that despite major public spending on electricity during that period, many Nigerians still experienced unreliable power supply. He said Nigeria needs a clean break from the political elite he holds responsible for persistent poverty, corruption, insecurity and poor electricity.
