Edo Demolishes Uromi Buildings Linked to Suspected Ritual and Cult Activities
The Edo State Government has demolished a bungalow and boys’ quarters in Uromi allegedly linked to a 40-year-old suspect arrested over suspected ritual killings and organ harvesting. Security officials said the arrest followed more than a month of surveillance after victims were reportedly found in the area. They said a search of the property uncovered bloodstained materials and other evidence now being investigated by the police. Another building in Ewatto, Esan South-East Local Government Area, was also demolished over allegations that it was used for cult-related activities. The suspects are in police custody as investigations and possible prosecution continue.
