Gov Sani Predicts Tinubu Will Win 70–80% of Kaduna Votes in 2027

Gov Sani Predicts Tinubu Will Win 70–80% of Kaduna Votes in 2027

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani says President Bola Tinubu is not losing support in northern Nigeria. He predicts Tinubu could win between 70 and 80 per cent of votes in Kaduna State in the 2027 presidential election. Sani said claims of widespread northern dissatisfaction were driven mainly by political narratives and social media activity. He argued that voters would ultimately assess the Tinubu administration by the impact of its policies and projects on their lives. The governor noted that Atiku Abubakar won Kaduna in the 2023 election with 554,360 votes, compared with Tinubu’s 399,293. However, he said changing political alliances, defections to the APC and federal projects in southern Kaduna could significantly reshape the state’s voting pattern in 2027. He also urged Nigerians to question campaign promises and demand clear explanations of how politicians plan to fund and implement their proposals.
