Yobe Police Arrest 13-Year-Old After Fatal Stabbing in Damaturu

The Yobe State Police Command says it has arrested a 13-year-old boy over the alleged stabbing death of 19-year-old Adamu Bukar Tamba in Damaturu. Police said the incident happened on September 10, 2026, following an argument between the two boys. The victim’s father reportedly alerted officers at the B Divisional Headquarters. Detectives found the victim injured and took him to the Specialist Hospital, Damaturu, where he was later confirmed dead. The suspect remains in police custody as investigations continue.
