Pre-Dawn Attack in Aiyegunle Bunu: One Killed, 30 Abducted

In the early hours of June 1, gunmen stormed Aiyegunle Bunu in Kabba-Bunu LGA, Kogi State. The raid left one resident dead and at least 30 others kidnapped. Among those abducted were a local pastor and a woman. Witnesses say many victims were travelling in a commercial bus that was intercepted by the assailants. The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the incident and launched an investigation into the attack.
