Operation Hadin Kai Troops Nab Two Suspected Boko Haram Informants in Mainok
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai arrested two civilians believed to be informants for Boko Haram in the Mainok area of Kaga LGA, Borno State. The suspects were taken into custody at about 3:00 a.m. on March 18, 2026, following credible intelligence on their movements. Security sources report that soldiers from the 156 Task Force Battalion acted swiftly after local informants tipped them off to suspicious activity. The operation yielded electrical cables and other items suspected to support terrorist logistics. The suspects and recovered materials are now held by the Sector 2 Military Intelligence Brigade for further investigation.
