Troops Rescue Seven Kidnap Victims in Benue's Ohimini LGA

Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke, working with the police and local vigilantes, rescued seven kidnap victims in Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State. The intelligence-led operation followed reports of suspected kidnappers operating around the Amla-Icho, Ogobia and Anpekchi communities. The suspects reportedly fled into the surrounding area as security operatives advanced, leaving the victims behind. A vehicle allegedly linked to the kidnapping operation was recovered and handed over to the police for further investigation. Residents have been urged to continue sharing timely information with security agencies.
