Peter Obi Demands End to Violence After Benue and Plateau Killings
Peter Obi has condemned the recent killings of at least 18 people in Benue State and nine members of a family, including a two-month-old baby, in Plateau State. He described the attacks in Otukpo-Nobi, Akpachi, Kum and Wereng-Camp communities as heartbreaking and unacceptable. He urged the government to protect lives and property, hold perpetrators accountable and warned: “We cannot continue to accept this tragic cycle as though it were normal. It is not.”
