Former How I Met Your Mother Star Nick Pasqual Guilty of Attempted Murder

Former How I Met Your Mother actor Nick Pasqual has been found guilty of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary and injuring a spouse. In May 2024, prosecutors say Pasqual stabbed his estranged girlfriend more than 20 times in her Sunland home. She spent over a week in hospital and now lives with scarring, partial vision loss and nerve damage. Shehorn had a restraining order against Pasqual when he allegedly broke down her door and chased her into the bathroom before the brutal attack. After fleeing toward Mexico, Pasqual was arrested at a Texas border crossing and extradited back to California. He now faces a possible life sentence with sentencing set for a later date.
