Buhari’s Former Aide Urges Tinubu to Send Ministers Home for 2027 Grassroots Campaigns

Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to late President Muhammadu Buhari, has urged President Bola Tinubu to send ministers to their home states to build grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections. He said ministers should hold town hall meetings, engage residents directly and explain the administration’s policies, achievements and vision. Ahmad argued that each minister should be responsible for strengthening support for Tinubu in their respective states.
