American content creator Crystal Nicole has accused Nigerian actress Uche Montana of recreating one of her videos for a paid brand partnership without proper credit. Crystal said the video allegedly copied her wording, creative direction, flow and overall concept step by step. She argued that the result went beyond ordinary creative inspiration. According to Crystal, Uche later added an “inspired by” credit to the caption before removing it. She said proper inspiration should involve developing an existing idea into something distinct, rather than closely reproducing the original work.
