Adamawa Man Arrested for Allegedly Trying to Sell His 18-Year-Old Niece for ₦7 Million
Police in Adamawa State have arrested Andrawus James for allegedly attempting to sell his 18-year-old niece for ₦7 million. James, a resident of Bai village in Fufure LGA, allegedly lured the young woman from Yola South with a false promise of securing her a job in Abuja. He reportedly instructed her not to tell her parents about the trip. The alleged plan was uncovered after James reportedly approached a man in Ganye to discuss selling her. The man alerted security operatives, leading to James’ arrest when he arrived in Ganye with his niece for the alleged transaction. Police say the case remains under investigation.
