Paul Okotie Calls on Deltans to Rally Behind Oborevwori, Diden and Ereyitomi Ahead of 2027 Polls
On Sunday, 8 March 2025, hundreds of Deltans gathered at Morogun Primary School, Warri, for a major grassroots mobilisation. The event was organised by the Delta Democratic Platform (DDP) in partnership with EPU to boost civic engagement ahead of upcoming elections. Comrade Paul Okotie, the movement’s coordinator, urged community leaders, women’s groups and youths to stay united and politically aware. He stressed that real power lies with the people and called on participants to vote wisely for leaders committed to development. Okotie highlighted Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s early achievements and empowerment programmes. He also introduced Senate hopeful Michael Diden (Ejele) and House of Representatives candidate Ereyitomi Thomas. Supporters pledged to sustain outreach, strengthen unity and drive voter mobilisation across Delta State. The gathering ended on a note of resilience and determination. Attendees reaffirmed their commitment to active democratic participation and to backing leaders who deliver lasting progress for Deltans and Nigeria.
