Troops of Sector 5, Operation Enduring Peace, have rescued a farmer who suffered head injuries in an alleged attack by suspected herders in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The incident reportedly occurred around 4:20 p.m. on August 6 along HottomSha Road in Daffo District. Troops responded to a distress call and found the injured man, identified as Malan Malo, while the suspects fled before the security team arrived. The victim was taken to a cottage hospital for treatment. Troops have increased patrols in the area as efforts continue to identify and arrest the fleeing suspects.
