Los Angeles Father Charged After Two Young Sons Are Shot Dead During Custody Visit
A 35-year-old father has been arrested after his two sons, aged 11 and four, were shot in Los Angeles, California. The incident happened in the Pico-Union area on October 12. Police said officers found the boys and their father with serious injuries after responding to reports of a shooting shortly before 1 p.m. The children were taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Relatives said the boys had been with their father for a custody visit and that he had told their mother he planned to take them out to eat. Detectives have not announced a motive, and the investigation is ongoing.
