Oluremi Tinubu Receives Ugoeze Anambra Title a Day After Imo Honour
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has received the traditional title of Ugoeze Anambra during a one-day working visit to Anambra State. Traditional rulers representing the state’s 179 communities presented the title at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka. The title, also rendered as Ugo Eze Anambra, means “the glory of the king” or “Royal Eagle.” It came a day after traditional rulers in Imo State conferred the title Oso Di Eme 1 on her. During the Anambra visit, Mrs Tinubu launched the National Community Food Bank Programme for the South-East. She also flagged off an empowerment scheme for 5,000 beneficiaries across the state’s 21 local government areas and commissioned an ICT Experience Centre at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko.
