ADC Denies APC’s Claim of Defections by Its State Assembly Candidates

The African Democratic Congress has rejected the APC’s claim that it received ADC House of Assembly candidates from Jigawa, Plateau, Taraba and Zamfara states. The party said the people presented by the APC were neither its candidates nor its leaders. It challenged the APC to identify the offices they held, the constituencies they allegedly represented and when they occupied those positions. ADC also criticised the APC’s claim that the alleged defectors were drawn by improvements in Northern Nigeria, saying Nigerians want evidence of better living conditions, lower food prices and improved security.
