Anambra POCACOV Names Women Affairs Commissioner Senior Ambassador in Anti-Vice Campaign

The Anambra State chapter of the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices has named the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, a senior ambassador and strategic partner. The partnership is intended to strengthen campaigns against cultism, substance abuse, bullying, cybercrime and other social vices affecting children, teenagers and young people. POCACOV said the Ministry of Women Affairs has an important role in advocacy, counselling, youth empowerment, family development and protecting vulnerable people. The ministry pledged continued collaboration with the police to promote safer communities across Anambra State.
