Kwankwaso Urges International Community to Note Reported Attack on Obi’s Convoy in Benue
Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has condemned the reported attack on Peter Obi’s convoy in Benue State. Kwankwaso said suspected political thugs allegedly blocked the convoy along Boko Road and prevented Obi from entering Makurdi. He described the incident as a threat to democratic freedoms and citizens’ constitutional right to move freely. He called on the Benue State Government to identify and prosecute those responsible. He also urged the President, diplomatic missions and election observers to ensure opposition leaders are protected and the rule of law is upheld.
