How Nigeria’s Embrace of Lies Is Fueling Our Suffering

Many Nigerians prefer comforting lies over hard truths. They cling to a fantasy that problems will magically fix themselves. Daily, this forum reveals tribal attacks and divisive agendas. Instead of working together, we resist any effort that requires real commitment. Without unity, genuine progress is impossible. Sectional loyalties leave people vulnerable to violence, hunger and insecurity. A way forward is a national referendum. Let each region decide whether to stay united or go separate ways. Only honest dialogue can build a fair, lasting union.
