JAMB Sets Strict Accreditation Rules for 2027 UTME CBT Centres

JAMB says computer-based test centres must meet its requirements to receive accreditation for the 2027 UTME. Centres will be assessed on their facilities, infrastructure and ability to conduct the examination without avoidable disruptions. Approval will not be automatic, the board said. JAMB Registrar Professor Segun Aina outlined the requirements at a meeting with Chief External Examiners, where preparations for the accreditation exercise were reviewed. The board said the screening is intended to prevent technical problems and ensure candidates have a secure, reliable and suitable place to write the exam.
