Alleged Abia Drug Dealer Remanded After Police Raid
Police in Abia State have arraigned and remanded 49-year-old Chukwudi Eguzouwa over alleged drug dealing. Police said he was arrested during an intelligence-led raid on suspected criminal hideouts in Ahiaba-Ubi, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area. Officers reportedly recovered bags containing suspected cannabis, methamphetamine, cocaine and other substances. The Abia Police Command said investigations were concluded before the suspect was arraigned and remanded in a correctional facility. The command also warned those involved in criminal activity to desist or face prosecution.
