NDLEA Arrests South African Woman With 32.74kg Cannabis at Port Harcourt Airport
The NDLEA says it arrested a 30-year-old South African woman at Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, Rivers State, after allegedly finding 32.74kg of cannabis concealed in two bags. The suspect reportedly arrived from Thailand through Doha. The agency also said it intercepted 354,000 Tapentadol tablets weighing 307.20kg at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The consignment was allegedly imported from Pakistan and placed under surveillance before it was seized. In separate operations, NDLEA operatives reported seizures of suspected cannabis and other illicit substances in Cross River and Edo states. Several suspects were arrested as investigations continue.
