Galadima Alleges Fayemi, Seven Others Are Working Against Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has alleged that former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi is coordinating a group working to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election. Speaking on a television programme, Galadima said he was among seven opposition figures involved in the effort. He expressed confidence that Peter Obi would win the presidency if the election is free and fair. Fayemi has not publicly responded to the allegation. The former governor has previously faced criticism from APC officials over comments seen as critical of the party.
