Kwankwaso Urges Atiku to Drop 2027 Bid and Support NDC Ticket
Rabiu Kwankwaso has urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to abandon his reported 2027 presidential ambition and support the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) ticket. Kwankwaso made the appeal on September 10 while receiving members of the Fulani Farmers Association at his Abuja residence. He said Atiku would be accommodated if the NDC wins the presidency. The remarks come as opposition figures explore possible alliances ahead of the 2027 general election, with the aim of challenging President Bola Tinubu and the ruling APC.
