Singha Beer Heir Dismissed After Brother’s Incest Abuse Allegations
Siranudh Scott, environmental activist and Singha beer heir, has accused his elder brother of abusing him from age 12 to 24. In a tearful video, he revealed he recorded his brother’s confession and confronted his family, but says they ignored the tape and took no action. Feeling betrayed and unwilling to remain part of a family he says lacks empathy, Siranudh renounced any claim to the brewery’s succession. Boonrawd Brewery Company has since “dismissed” Sunit Scott from all roles and expressed regret for what happened. The company’s CEO, a cousin of both brothers, confirmed cooperation with authorities. The Bhirombhakdi family, listed by Forbes among Thailand’s wealthiest, controls Singha Beer alongside diverse business interests.
