Suspected Thief Bargains Price, Uses Test Drive to Steal ₦15m Car

An Abuja car dealer has shared how a simple test drive turned into a robbery. After advertising a ₦15 million vehicle, the dealer says the suspect bargained the price down to ₦13.5 million and arranged an inspection. During the drive, the buyer asked to stop by the dealer’s home, claiming he was hungry. Once the dealer stepped out, two men appeared, overpowered him, snatched the keys and drove off. The incident was reported to police and tracked via the vehicle’s tracker. Officers later recovered the car at the University of Abuja, and the suspect is now in custody as investigations continue.
