Amaechi Defends Educational Record, Cites Alex Otti as University Junior

During an interview, former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi was asked why his law degree was not included among his submitted credentials. Amaechi declined to discuss the issue, saying he did not want to be drawn into politics. He said he could contact former classmates from his primary school, secondary school and the University of Port Harcourt to confirm his education. He named Christian Obor as a primary-school classmate and said Abia State Governor Alex Otti was his junior at university. Amaechi maintained that he did not want to discuss politics during the programme.
