Fuel Delivery Delays Trigger Long Queues at Bali Petrol Stations
Motorists in Bali, Indonesia, have faced long waits at petrol stations after delays disrupted fuel deliveries across the tourist island. Officials blamed a delayed fuel tanker, poor weather and increased demand for subsidised petrol. Some drivers reportedly waited for up to seven hours to buy fuel. Authorities said fuel reserves were not exhausted and that the issue was mainly a distribution problem. State energy company Pertamina deployed more tanker trucks, while the Bali governor urged residents not to panic-buy. Queues were easing, but supplies had not fully returned to normal.
