Seun Okinbaloye Explains Why He Warned That 2027 Election Rigging May Have Begun

Seun Okinbaloye says his warning that the 2027 general election may already be compromised was not aimed at any political party or candidate. He said his concern is the integrity of the preliminary voters’ register released by INEC. The broadcaster said INEC had acknowledged questionable entries in the register, including suspected AI-generated photographs. According to him, registration officials with access to the system may have introduced invalid records, raising concerns about how such entries could be exploited if safeguards fail. Okinbaloye called for an independent audit of the register, the removal of invalid entries and accountability for anyone found to have manipulated the process. He urged Nigerians, political parties, security agencies and INEC to act before the final register is certified.
