Wizkid leads the ranking of Africa’s most-streamed musicians on Spotify with 11.61 billion streams, followed by Burna Boy with 10.82 billion. Rema ranks third with 6.58 billion streams. Nigeria has 13 artists in the top 20, including Asake, Ayra Starr, Davido, Omah Lay, CKay, Fireboy DML, Mr Eazi, Kizz Daniel, Seyi Vibez and BNXN. South Africa’s Tyla, Seether, Die Antwoord and Black Coffee also make the list. The figures highlight Nigeria’s strong influence in African music streaming.
