INEC Urges Eligible Nigerians to Register Before Sunday’s CVR Deadline

The Independent National Electoral Commission has reminded eligible Nigerians to complete their voter registration before the Continuous Voter Registration exercise closes on Sunday, 26 July 2026. New voters and people seeking to update their details can complete the process online or visit designated registration centres for assistance. INEC state offices and local government area offices will also provide in-person support. Registration centres will operate daily, including weekends, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until the deadline. The exercise is part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
