Delta Security Forces Rescue Kidnap Victim and Capture Notorious Bandit Abubakar Usman

Delta State’s SafeCity Security Service, working with the state police, has arrested wanted bandit Abubakar Usman in the Ogwashi-Uku/Adonta Forest. The operation followed the July 2nd kidnapping of Mrs Blessing Chiedu along Ani-Ifekide Farm Road. Kidnappers had demanded a N100 million ransom before the Anti-Kidnapping Squad launched a coordinated rescue. Using Hydra Tech surveillance, officers found and freed Chiedu alive and unharmed along the Ubulu-Unor/Ashama Road. A gun battle ensued at the gang’s forest hideout. Abubakar Usman was captured while other suspects fled. Authorities say his gang carried out multiple kidnappings across Igbodo, Umunede and nearby communities.
