Nigeria at 66: NATCOM Bill Proponent Calls for Peace and Stronger Security
Dr Baba Mohammed, a proponent of the National Commission for the Coordination and Control of the Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons Bill, has congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary. He called for peaceful coexistence, unity and continued prayers for the country. He said the full implementation of the proposed commission could help address security challenges, create jobs for young people and support the economy. Mohammed also congratulated President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, leaders of the National Assembly, senior government officials and the service chiefs.
