Rotary Club of Ogba Gives ₦75,000 Grants to Four Struggling Small Business Owners
The Rotary Club of Ogba distributed ₦75,000 grants each to four nano-entrepreneurs in Lagos on October 28, 2026, injecting a total of ₦300,000 into small businesses in the community. One beneficiary, 67-year-old shoe-polish seller Victoria Olajide, said she has no home and often sleeps wherever night meets her. The mother of five has continued trading along Ogba’s banking avenue to support herself rather than beg. The other recipients were electronics technician Taiwo Ibrahim, petty trader Rejoice Barnabas and Adijat Yusuf. The grants are intended to help the beneficiaries sustain their businesses and meet daily needs.
