Momodu Takes Swipe at Wike Over PDP 2022 Presidential Primary Fallout

ADC chieftain Dele Momodu has criticised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over what he described as lingering anger after the PDP’s 2022 presidential primary. During an appearance on a television political programme, Momodu contrasted Wike’s response to losing the ticket with Atiku Abubakar’s past decisions to step aside in political contests. He described Atiku as a tolerant politician who does not use state power to control rivals. Momodu also argued that Atiku is the most experienced of the major figures likely to shape the 2027 presidential contest, citing his record as a former vice president.
