PETROAN Warns Limited NNPC Stations Could Undermine Fuel Discount
PETROAN says the Federal Government’s proposed 30-day petrol discount may not reach enough Nigerians if it is limited to NNPC retail outlets. Its president, Billy Gillis-Harry, said the number of NNPC stations in many cities is too small to serve the millions of people who depend on petrol daily. He argued that involving more retail outlets would allow discounted fuel to reach consumers more quickly and widely. The proposed discount is expected to apply to petrol sold at NNPC outlets for 30 days.
