Richarlison Alleges Flávio Bolsonaro Took Control of His Rio Island Without Payment
Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil forward Richarlison has accused Senator Flávio Bolsonaro of taking control of his private island off the coast of Rio de Janeiro without paying for it. Richarlison said he bought and developed the property between 2020 and 2021, investing about 10 million reals. He alleged that the dispute began after he refused to sell the island to Bolsonaro. The footballer called on Brazil’s Federal Police to investigate and said he would donate part of any recovered funds to a hospital in his hometown. Bolsonaro has denied the allegations, describing them as false.
