JAMB and WAEC Introduce One-Off ₦4,000 O’Level Result Verification Fee

JAMB and WAEC have introduced a one-off ₦4,000 fee for verifying WASSCE O’Level results for candidates seeking admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions. Candidates will complete the verification once through the JAMB Verification Service. Their verified result can then be shared with the institution they are applying to, without another verification payment when submitting credentials to other schools. The examination bodies said payment must be made only on the designated JAMB platform. They added that the system will reduce repeated verification requests, cut costs and allow candidates to begin the process remotely. JAMB has been authorised to share verified WAEC results with tertiary institutions for admission screening and other approved administrative purposes.
