President Tinubu’s Bold End to Fuel Subsidy: A New Dawn for Nigeria

The Aso Rock Villa, also known as the Presidential Villa, is Nigeria’s seat of power. It is where decisions that shape the nation are made. Over the years, many leaders knew what needed to be done. Yet they failed to take bold action on crucial issues, especially Nigeria’s oil subsidy. This failure held back our progress. On his first day in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu faced this challenge head-on. He ended the fuel subsidy—a step seen as painful but necessary to free Nigeria from a decades-long burden. We thank His Excellency for this decisive move. We believe our national pride and prosperity will grow from this courageous act.
