Adamawa Police Arrest Two Over Alleged Theft of ₦3m Irrigation Pipes

Police in Adamawa have arrested two men over the alleged theft of eight underground irrigation pipes valued at about ₦3 million in Yola South Local Government Area. The pipes were reportedly taken from a farm in the Gayewa area. Police said one suspect allegedly stole the pipes and sold them to the other, who was described as a scavenger. Operatives of the Kofare Division recovered the pipes and a Carry-Go motorcycle. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue and are expected to be charged to court.
