Armed Gunmen Kill Pregnant Woman and Young Man in Plateau Community

Late on Friday, June 19, attackers stormed Dyan community in Rim village, Riyom LGA of Plateau State. They opened fire around 10 p.m., killing Mrs. Happiness Pam, 32, who was pregnant, and Daniel Luka, 24. The raid threw residents into panic. In a statement, the Berom Youth Moulders Association condemned the killings as gruesome and unacceptable. They warned that such violence not only claims innocent lives but also undermines the peace and security of the wider community.
