78-Year-Old Scottish Grandmother Sets Guinness Record as Oldest Female Fortnite Streamer
Cath Bowie, a 78-year-old grandmother from Scotland, has been recognised by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest female Fortnite streamer. Known online as grumpygran1948, Bowie began playing Fortnite in 2017 after watching her grandson. She now streams the game for up to six hours a day and has built an online community of more than 24,000 followers. Bowie said she still enjoys the excitement of Fortnite nearly nine years after starting. She encouraged older people not to let age stop them from trying new hobbies or learning new skills. Her record appears in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2027, highlighting gamers from different generations around the world.
