Tinubu’s Aide Dismisses Atiku’s Claim That President Is 90

A presidential aide, Temitope Ajayi, has dismissed Atiku Abubakar’s claim that President Bola Tinubu is 90 years old. Atiku made the allegation during a BBC interview and said he had evidence that he would present in court. Ajayi described the claim as false and accused the former vice-president of making personal attacks out of desperation for the presidency. Ajayi said Atiku’s comments contradicted his pledge to focus on issues affecting Nigerians. He also criticised Atiku’s position on fuel subsidy and challenged him to present any evidence supporting the age claim in court.
