FCT Approves Digital Case Management System for 67 High Courtrooms

The FCT Administration has approved contracts to digitise High Courts across Abuja, replacing handwritten records and manual case filing with electronic recording and case-management systems. The project will cover 67 courtrooms and is expected to make judicial records easier to access, organise and track. Lawyers and litigants will also be able to file cases electronically, reducing reliance on physical documents. Officials say the rollout is expected to begin within two weeks. The initiative is intended to reduce delays associated with manual court processes and improve the administration of justice in the FCT.
