Designing a Real-Time Election Monitoring Platform
I’m planning to build an election monitoring application for a senatorial zone with about 900 polling units. Each polling agent will upload results in real time and stream live audio reports. Supervisors will oversee one to two agents. The app needs to handle high concurrency, low latency data sync, and scalable coverage across senate, house of reps, and local government divisions. I’m looking for recommendations on architecture, data stores, real-time messaging, and best technology stacks. What would be your ideal approach to ensure reliability, security, and fault tolerance under peak load?
